If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in Wilmington, look no further than Reel Fly. Your guide for the day is Captain Robert, giving you access to years of local experience.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Bonito, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and plenty more.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Robert also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

The whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks!

Your vessel for the day is a 22’ Flats boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.

Capt. Robert has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included.

Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now’s the time to experience fishing in Wilmington for yourself, with Reel Fly!
