This is a classic beach bungalow with knotty pine tongue-and-groove interior siding. It has been equipped to include everything you will need to appreciate a long and fun-filled vacation at the beach. The oceanfront screened porch is a great place to relax out of the sun and savor the cool ocean breezes. Or you can enjoy the same breezes on the sun deck while getting a tan. This family beach is seldom busy and the strand is less than 100 feet from the sun deck. You will never need to lug around your chairs or sand toys to enjoy them on the beach. Conveniences include living, dining, and kitchen areas, plus central H/A, five ceiling fans, a microwave, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a cable TV, a stereo, high-speed WiFi, a screened porch, a sundeck, rockers, and a boardwalk to the beach.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting "Yes" to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, change your family's Carolina Beach vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review.
