Carolina Beach has a fish with your name on it, so let Reel Teal Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Tony can tell you all about them.
You’re likely to fish for Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Seabass, Grunt, Gag Grouper, Bluefish, Cobia, Flounder, Hammerhead Shark, Sheepshead, Red Snapper, Spadefish, and more if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You’ll be casting lines from a 23’ Sea Pro center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
