This freshly remodeled beach bungalow, with an open concept floor plan features vaulted ceilings and a sweeping view of the ocean. Wood floors throughout the entire home give it a true coastal feel. Renovated bathrooms with modern walk in showers. The décor is sunny, clean and beachy.

The home features a nautical theme “Crow’s Nest” including ship style steps with two hidden bedrooms with high ceilings tucked away on both sides of the home, great for teens or those seeking a peaceful coastal getaway. The “Crow’s Nest” also features its own hang-out area with vistas of the Ocean and Intercoastal Waterway.

All rooms in the bungalow have a view of the ocean, a unique feature designed by the acclaimed Carolina architect and original owner, Thomas Thurmon Hayes. The main living area fronts the ocean and features a wall of windows that accepts for an unobstructed awe-inspiring view of the ocean. Two direct beach accesses by a path on either side of the home. When you return from the beach, shower in the fantastic ocean breeze in one of the two roomy outdoor H/C showers.

About the Area

Located in Oak Island, this vacation home is on the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.
