Tips to get the optimal Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Summertime is high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the best vacation home in the Carolina Beach area:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Oceanfront Condo with Pool has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available online. If you don't see them listed, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's an individual Carolina Beach beach you long to visit, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • To make sure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. message the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
