The home has two sets of Twin bunk beds in one room, a Queen in another, and a King bedroom with an attached Master Bathroom. After a day at the beach come back, clean off in the hot/cold outdoor shower, and relax. The back of the home has a newly created screened-in game room area complete with a ping pong table, darts, an outdoor refrigerator, microwave, and bar seating for 4. When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
