Strategies to get the perfect Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

Getting the best value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Begin by selecting the best vacation week and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Cozy Carolina Condo
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what bed configuration is right for your trip.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's an individual Carolina Beach attraction you simply love, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
