This 2-bed/2-bath beachfront condo has impressive vistas of the Atlantic ocean w/ central location amenities which include the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, painless popovers to striking, fun eateries like NautiDog & BRITTS DONUTS to name just a few! Tastefully decorated & every accommodation you will need for a handsome beach vacation has been included for you! Full kitchen w/ dishwasher, W/D. Free parking for 2 cars! Private beach access, 3rd floor unit, elevator. NO FAMILY PETS OWNER IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC!

The VERY BEST location in Carolina Beach... ON the ocean, watch the ocean waves from your private balcony! Literally seconds from front door to ocean shore! Gated community, private beach access. Britts Donuts is a few blocks away!

There are tons of vehicular options if you cannot or chose not to walk, you can rent golf carts, bicycles, etc. (suggestions in Guidebook supplied) Everything you need is close but feels private in the gated building community of Cabana de Mar.
Please leave shoes at the door. Please MAKE SURE that your paper parking pass is completely filled out and remains on your rearview mirror to avoid being towed or booted. Please text Spencer should you have any issues or questions. The office downstairs is not for short-term guests.

Please follow check-out instructions. Please do not feed the birds off the balcony and do not hang clothing or towels over the balcony railing. Thank you so much!

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, while Carolina Beach Boardwalk and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are popular area attractions. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting.

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Carolina Beach vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitors guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you book your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or could be applied to your agreement.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Record any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a terrific stay? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
