Leopard's Chase Golf Club

Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach visitors who want to dive into southern North Carolina’s world-class golf scene can make a date with Leopard's Chase Golf Club – one of five “Big Cat” golf courses that are found along the regional coastline. Named by Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Best New Public Courses in America for 2007,” this most recent addition to the Big Cat collection features incredible views, natural and man-made features, and acres of challenging play for golfers of all skill levels.

The course is found just inland of the Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach shorelines, and is close to the North Carolina / South Carolina border, which makes it a convenient destination for Myrtle Beach and North Carolina golfers alike. The course is comprised of TifSport Bermudagrass fairways and well-manicured L-93 bentgrass greens, and rolls over more than 220 acres of natural terrain. A number of manmade and natural water hazards add an extra challenge along the way, and golfers can choose from 5 sets of tees to cater to their individual skill levels. With picturesque views in every direction – which includes an elegant waterfall by the 18thhole – golfers will enjoy a fine example of what exceptional coastal Carolina golfing is all about.
