NC Plantation Antiques

Though it might not look like much from the outside, the charmingly small NC Plantation Antiques is home to a treasure trove of vintage treasures that spans generations, and can cater to veritably every collector. Located in a tiny white cottage in the heart of Downtown Southport, this little antique shop is a must-see destination for shoppers who love a friendly ambiance and a lot of historic surprises.

NC Plantation Antiques is found along Howe Street, just a half dozen blocks or so away from the waterfront, which makes it an easy-to-reach destination for veritably all Downtown Southport explorers. The windows and the interior of the store itself are stocked with a wide range of treasures, which can range from pristine pieces of heirloom glassware to long rows of antique Coke or Pepsi bottles. Patrons will be especially impressed with the brilliant quilt collection, as well as the ancient collection of toys, prints, artworks, and delicate figurines. There’s also a nice selection of vintage jewelry and hats, as well as a modest-sized but eye-catching array of antiques, (including many of the display cases themselves.) Overstuffed with collectables of all varieties, NC Plantation Antiques proves to treasure hunters that good things really do come in small packages.
