Oak Island Restaurant

Oak Island Restaurant is a solid destination for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a casual and family-friendly environment. Located along Oak Island Drive and easy to reach for vacationers who are staying all along the Oak Island shoreline, this crowd-pleasing eatery can cater to seafood lovers, kids, and burger and hot dog lovers alike.

The menu for all three meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – is fairly simple and expected for a beach town, but is nonetheless enticing for patrons of all palettes, and especially seafood lovers. While patrons can certainly chomp down on a hot dog, burger, or chicken tender basket, complete with French fries, the seafood platters are arguably the most popular item with Oak Island Restaurant regulars. For something nicely filling, go for the fried flounder, which is a regular favorite, or try the fried oysters, shrimp, or other regional seafood specials. There’s plenty of elbow room in the ample dining room with colorful tables and chairs and a small row of booths, and the nautical but simple atmosphere is a perfect representation of a classic North Carolina seafood restaurant. With kid-friendly fare, lots of seafood options, and everything in between, Oak Island Restaurant is a good option or families who have a wide variety of coastal cravings.
