Welcome to The Oceaneer
Carolina Beach’s newest boutique hotel is where a relaxed coastal getaway meets thoughtful sustainability. Just steps from the ocean and minutes from Fort Fisher, our newly renovated hotel offers a fresh, laid-back atmosphere with meaningful touches. Lounge by our spacious pool, wander through Alexa’s Garden, or explore the area on a beach cruiser bike. Whether you’re here to unwind or for adventure, The Oceaneer provides the perfect place for you to experience Carolina Beach in a whole new way.
ON PROPERTY
Swim, sip, or lounge. Relaxing is effortless at The Oceaneer — with our expansive pool, on-site market stocked with local provisions, espresso bar, fitness center, and shaded garden nooks. Whether you’re starting your day or winding it down, comfort is always close.
NEARBY
Cruise the coast on a beach bike, catch waves or try e-foiling, or explore nearby state parks with maritime shrub forests, Venus flytraps (their only native habitat in the US), and scenic walking paths. Fort Fisher and the ferry to Southport and Bald Head Island are all just minutes away.
OUR STORY
The renovation of The Oceaneer took form from a simple idea: that a beach hotel should love the beach back. Our design ethos blends natural textures, breezy comfort, and sustainability—from salvaged materials and dune-preserving landscaping to low-waste and native plant gardens. Every detail reflects our care for the coast and our connection to the Carolina Beach community. This is a stay that respects the shoreline, supports the local community, and invites you to slow down and explore.
