Panther's Run Golf Links

Panther's Run Golf Links is one of the five “Big Cats” collection of golf courses, (and one of four that’s found in the community of Ocean Ridge Plantation), and is stunning but challenging course that takes full advantage of the vistas and natural challenges that are found throughout coastal North Carolina. Located just a few miles away from both the South Carolina state border and the pristine Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach shorelines, this 18-hole course is a wonderfully sunny example of premier southern NC golf.

The course was designed by architect Tim Cate who created a unique layout that winds through an unspoiled and extensive nature preserve. The natural setting blends well with the perfectly manicured Maneuvered greens which were installed in 2010, and the end result is a nice blend of a native setting combined with a modern course design. Water plays a big role in the course, with plenty of rambling brooks and ponds throughout, and the 7,089 yard course features large, multiple tee areas which gives golfers of all abilities a fair shot at making par. Equally praised for its on-the-water beauty and its on-the-greens challenges, Panther's Run Golf Links is considered a “can’t miss” golf course for avid Cape Fear area golfers.
