Riverside Adventure Company

Bald Head Island vacationers can load up on everything they need just minutes after they step off the ferry and onto the island with a visit to Riverside Adventure Company. This 30-year institution carries all the supplies and equipment that new visitors need to cruise around the island in style, and even offers special tours, fishing adventures, and more events to introduce newcomers to all the amazing aspects of this desolate but pristine barrier island.

Riverside Adventure Company is located just steps away from the ferry docks, right on Bald Head Island’s “main drag,” Marina Wynd Rd. The store stocks a full line of golf carts and bikes so visitors can easily get around the island, as well as plenty of beach chair and umbrellas available for rent, and everything from sunscreen to sand toys to ensure everyone in the party has a great time. In addition, the site is a launching point for a number of tours, including a Ghost Walk and Sunset Celebration, as well as an on-site sail shop where visitors can pick up kayak, surfing, and sailing lessons during their vacation. With plenty of ways to have fun, Riverside Adventure Company is truly a one-stop shop for on-the-water adventures.
