Whether it is time to walk on the beach, fish from the surf, throw horseshoes in the sand, ride bicycles down to the Point, relax with beverages on your open deck, load your paddle board into or take an evening stroll over to the Oak Island Pier to have a nice dinner at the Island Way restaurant - this LOCATION HAS IT ALL!

Find your perfect rental:

• Booking your Carolina Beach vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes.
• Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.

• Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a wonderful vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
