Everything you need in a home! We have an open floor plan with the main living and master suite downstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and cavernous bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with a shared bath. The second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has 2 twins. Outside is a separate room (crofter). Our unique crofter has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and dining area. There is a queen bed, a queen murphy bed and a bathroom. There is plenty of room for another family! The outside space is just as nice! We have a great screened in porch and plenty of outdoor space with our fenced in back yard. We also have a 4 and a 6 passenger cart. We have thought of everything to make your stay with us ideal and memorable!

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including wildlife walks.

Carolina Beach vacation rental tips and tricks:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

• In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
• June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To get the largest vacation home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
• Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
• Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
• Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

• Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
• Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
• Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
• Upon arrival, make note of any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
• Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
