At Casanini there are two main level masters with a king bed in one and a queen set in the other, plus a separate upper loft with its own full bath and a bunkbed and a separate twin bed. We adore to prepare while we're on the island so the refreshed kitchen with a brand new refrigerator is supplied with most every cooking utensil you will need to grille or prepare a gourmet meal. Then take your meal out on the deck overlooking the lagoon or carry it to the upper deck overlooking the ocean.

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

• In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
• To book the best rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what is optimal for your vacation group.
• Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.

• Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
• Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local attractions.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
