Cape Fear Paddleboarding is conveniently found on the borders of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, on a sliver of land along the Causeway that borders the Intracoastal Waterway and a network of outlying creeks and canals. As such, it’s in an ideal spot to launch any  SUP adventure, and visitors will find a wide range of SUP tours to choose from, which are great for beginners, and which explore the cool waterways that surround Wilmington, Figure Eight Island, and Wrightsville Beach. (The 2-hour sunset tour is a particularly popular tour for view fans.) In addition, SUP newcomers can sign up for lessons by skilled and patient instructors, or can even take a few fitness classes to enjoy a solid workout with a fantastic view.
