Dry Street Pub & Pizza

Dry Street Pub & Pizza is a fresh pizza joint on the slightly inland outskirts of Downtown Southport that features a nice and colorful array of elevated Italian cuisine. With a 20-year history of providing Southport locals and visitors with an assortment of homemade soups, breads, thin-crust pizzas, and desserts, patrons can feast on all their Italian and American favorites without ever leaving the heart of Southport.

The menu goes well beyond the traditional pizza place offerings, although patrons will certainly find a nice selection of both pizza by the slice options and entire pies, with unique toppings like basil pesto, balsamic reduction, roasted red peppers, and dried cranberries available. For something outside the pizza realm, (although the specialty pies like Spinach Salad or Margherita should be tried at least once), peruse the extensive sub and sandwich section of the menu. Here, diners will find Italian staples like a Meatball Sub, as well as more American fare including roast beef and cheese, smoked turkey and cheese, and chicken pita wrap, which are made with Boar’s Head meats. There are also some appealing appetizers, like a homemade crab bread and tomato bread, as well as regularly changing homemade desserts, which when combined, are sure to leave patrons completely full and readily looking forward to their next visit.
