Strategies for getting the best Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning, picking, and booking the right Carolina Beach rental:

  • To start, have your group select the best dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Beach Views on Cape Fear has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you book the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is right for your family.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.

More considerations:

  • Add the host's contact information to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. message the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
