More details:

This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. It can comfortably sleep 2 families. In the downstairs, there is another bedroom and half bathroom. There is not, however, an internal staircase between the 2 floors.

As you enter the property, the front door opens into an open area with the living room, kitchen, and dining room all in one enormous space. To the right you’ll find the bedrooms. The back of the home has a deck that is ideal for sharing a cold drink after a long day at the beach.

Down the stairs you’ll find another outdoor seating area and then inside to a secondary living room, ping pong table, and the additional bedroom.

The front of the home has an outdoor shower for getting the sand off your toes - or a full blown shower as it has a hot water line.

We are thrilled to share our little piece of heaven with you!

PS. The name of our home is from the country music song by Dierks Bentley - our oldest daughters favorite song and her first ever concert. She is so proud to have this cute little beach bungalow named after one of our favorite family memories!!

Our top Carolina Beach rental booking tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning and picking the bestvacation home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Comfy home, 3rd row, step from the beach! has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking websites. If not, contact the property owner before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or applied to your agreement.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas during check in. E-mail the property manager right away to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many problems.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
