Tips to get the very best Carolina Beach rental home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Carolina Beach area. Booking in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Selecting and booking a perfectrental home:

  • Choose your dates and spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Fitz Us Fine: Spacious, Adorable Beach Home in Family-friendly Neighborhood has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Carolina Beach beach you simply love, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your contract.

During your stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Record any issues with the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to compel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
