  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
