June 2024 - 10/10 Dream Vacation Home!

We’ve had the enjoyment of staying at this property for our yearly family vacation over the last few years and it never disappoints! The home is furnished charmingly and always spotless. Multiple rooms to choose from with sleeping arrangements for infants and young kids. It is a short golf cart drive to the Bald Head Island Club and when we want to switch it up and spend the days at the Shoals Club, we get to appreciate a pretty breathtaking drive around the coastline. The hosts are always responsive and check in to make sure things are going well. Can’t wait to return again next summer!

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Bay Beach, while Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights. Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Summer months are high season in the Carolina Beach area. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it.
