This home is set within the evergreen maritime forest that is part of the natural beauty of Bald Head Island and is protected by conservation regulations. Please check with the club directly for verification, as prices may change. Please keep in mind the BHI CLUB is now capping registration for their guest memberships. If you wish to attend the club during your stay please apply ASAP. Please visit the BHI Club website to see and review their NEW rules and costs for the 2022 year. Keep in mind there are new rules regarding what days you can attend the club and what activities guest members can use, Contact the club directly or go on their sites for any questions. We do not control club rates, rules, or restrictions. No discount or refund will be supplied if club membership is restricted or denied.

**This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-returnable Pet fee of $250 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. And for 2 Dogs the Pet Fee is $350.
**Max Occupancy: 6 Occupants - Kids must be counted within the max. occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.
**Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.***

* No events or events- If determined that a event/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.

BHI Info:
Private island where you can only get to by boat or ferry. This is a golf cart only island. You will leave your car behind & cruise on the golf cart supplied at the home. The island is roughly 5 by 2 miles. You can bicycle around the island in only an hour or two! Bald Head Island is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, stores, eateries, and activities.


BHI Activities:

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in West Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Strategies for getting the perfect rental experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

• Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
• Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

• Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
• Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
