One of the best kept secrets on Wrightsville Beach is expanding and the secret is officially out! The Breezeland family apartment complex is excited to introduce “Breezeland #1 Lower” and is it is already making a big splash on the rental market. This lovingly maintained multi-family home features modern updates, all the amenities of home, and the same convenient location that has kept families returning for decades. In fact, there are so many returning guests that it can be hard to find a vacancy, so reserve your dates quickly or someone else will!

“Breezeland #1 Lower” is a middle floor apartment that is located at the charming southern end of the island on a peaceful street and features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sweeping ocean vistas, and two huge, covered porches that offer water vistas. Guests will find everything they need within walking distance! Savor the convenience of the famed Oceanic Restaurant and Crystal Pier for a sunset dinner or drop by SunDays Coffee Shop for an early morning cup of joe.

As you enter the apartment you are welcomed by handsome plank floor and local artwork that gently nods to the history of this family home. The first guest bedroom will be immediately to your left as you walk through the hall and feature a plush queen-sized bed. A secondary hallway to the right leads you to a laundry closet and then to the primary bedroom. The cavernous primary bedroom has two closets and is furnished with a queen-sized bed. The private primary bathroom includes a walk-in shower and sizable vanity. Further down the main hallway, the third guest bedroom will be on the left and provides two twin beds. A full bathroom in the hallway lends itself to the two guest bedrooms as well as visitors.

At the end of the hall, you are welcomed to the main living space that features two enormous sliding glass doors that flood the room with natural light and showcase the astounding vistas. This great room includes a kitchen, two dining tables, a coffee bar, and roomy living area. With ample storage space, the well-equipped offers all the space you could need for preparing home cooked meals. Snuggle up on the sectional couch after dinner and catch up on your favorite shows on the intelligent TV, a family board game, and step out onto the covered deck and rock for hours in the soft sea breezes as the waves crash on the beach.

The ground floor of this home has an enclosed outdoor shower to help rinse away the salt and sand from the day. Grab an early morning sunrise walk on the beach via your private walkway and in May to September keep an eye out for nesting sea turtles. For years turtles have nested in front of Breezeland and bring a touch of magic to this phenomenal home.

How to book the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

Find your perfect rental:

  • To get the largest vacation home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Select dates and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. One of Wrightsville Beach's Best Kept Oceanfront Secrets! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach rental home search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is normally available online. If not, reach out to the host before reserving the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Upon arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a great time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
