There's a reason this home is called Sunset View and it's not hard to figure out. Mere steps from the beach across the street, and within walking distance to the newly refurbished BHI Club. The best features might be the two huge living areas that run the entire length of the home, both upstairs and down - and the humongous porches on each level. On the main level, is a master suite with a king bed and in-suite bathroom. A second bedroom with twins, and another with a pair of bunk beds, share a hallway bath. Right out the door is a roomy covered deck, including a picnic table overlooking the ocean. Upstairs, the whole length of the home is a game room with a combination pool table and ping pong table. Also, a TV for video games, enormous couch and additional sleeping with a futon. A fourth bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, is tucked away with an adjoining bath. Another deck is upstairs for sunbathing and a bird's eye view of the entire beach.

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to propel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
