"No Bones About It" has one of the best locations on the island! The expansive, unobstructed view is just breath taking! Sit back and relax on our broad porch and watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. We have a traditional floor plan with the main living, dining and kitchen on the first floor. The kitchen is well supplied and the open area is just ideal for family gatherings. There are three bedrooms and three baths on the first floor. The first bedroom has a king bed and the other two bedrooms have a queen size bed. We have had many upgrades in the last year. Upstairs we have another bedroom with a queen, two twins and a bath. This room is the trendy spot for the kiddos! Our home includes wifi, beach gear and two golf carts. Come savor our little piece of heaven on Bald Head Island!

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. How to find the best rental experience:

When to visit Bald Head Island & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Booking websites often offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.

• Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
• Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of problems.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• Protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
• Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Record a video to document the condition of the property.
• Leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation.
