If you will have more than one car, we recommend grabbing a spot in the Wilmington Convention Center parking garage located right next-door. Daily prices in the garage depend on season/events.SafetyNearby lake/riverOur villas are securely tied to a floating dock, which does not have railings. There are railings on the front and upstairs patio/balconies, and kids should be supervised at all times while in the marina. Swimming is not allowed in the Cape Fear River due to the dangerous current.Potential for noiseLocated next-door to Marina Grille & Live Oak Bank Amphitheater, live music can often be heard from our dock and patios. Military planes are also often heard flying overhead during the day. Welcome to this wonderfully remodeled home in the heart of Carolina Place! The home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an office making it ideal if you have to work from home while in town. You'll adore the spiral staircase and open plan living spaces with soaring ceilings. Upstairs, there's a fun reading nook where you can comfortable up with a good book or you can appreciate some time outside on the covered front porch. Street parking is available in front of the home.You'll appreciate the modern finishes and amenities throughout this home! The first thing you'll see when you walk in is the pretty spiral staircase leading to the loft area complete with a cozy bed, additional seating space, and a reading nook by the front window. There's a full bathroom off of the loft as well. Downstairs, the main living areas have an open floor plan and feels very roomy with the soaring ceilings that are open to the loft above. The living room has plenty of seating space for your group and leads right into the entirely outfitted kitchen which is ready for you to make a home cooked meal. There's bar stool seating at the kitchen peninsula to savor your meals. The second bedroom is located on the main floor with a king size bed, and there is a full bathroom on the main level as well as a home office in case you have to work while in town. There's a washer and dryer available for use on the main level as well.Guests will have access to the entire home and front porch. Please note that the owner of this property lives in the home as his primary residence and rents it out while he is travelling for work. The closet in the office, the enormous dresser upstairs, and a few other spots in the home will still have his personal belongings in them, so please be respectful of his things. There is still plenty of storage space available for you during your stay. He has left non-perishable items in the refrigerator and freezer, but there is shelf space available for you to use in both. There is a second rental unit at the back of the home, but they have a completely separate entrance so there are no shared spaces.Parking is available on the street in front of the home, but please don't block the surrounding driveways.Please be sure to review our cancellation policy prior to making your reservation. This upstairs 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex has tons of windows and natural light. It also includes access to the front porch that has a swing and additional seating and a deck with furnishings that is ideal for appreciating a cup of coffee or a meal. The living room has comfortable seating and a sizable Roku intelligent TV. One bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and a view of the cobblestone street. The second smaller bedroom has a twin size bunk bed and intelligent TV. The eat-in kitchen with seating for 4 is outfitted with all new appliances, including a gas stove, dish washer, and washer/dryer laundry center. It includes cookware, dishes, and kitchen basics and includes a coffee bar, bottled water, and some snacks. The bathroom has a tile shower with a glass door.This duplex is just a stone’s throw to downtown Wilmington, so you can walk to downtown and appreciate the historic north end of downtown. Off street parking is included (modest and mid sized cars only as the driveway is narrow) and there is always plenty of street parking for bigger cars, cars pulling a trailer, or additional cars.
