'Unforgettable' beach bungalow is a delightfully decorated and refreshed 4 bedroom 2 bath home. We are located on the beautiful west end of the island only four homes back from ocean front! You can see the beach access from our bungalow. It is shown in one of our photos taken from our bungalow. It is not so busy here on the west end. We are not near the busy pier area where all the people come from town to park and go to the beach. We have just finished our new high rise deck with amazing vistas of the ocean, sunset and sunrise. We have also added a gate with a lock on it for safety. We have one of the few cottages that has a paved driveway which is great for the kids feet! We have a huge area under bungalow to relax in the chairs or for kids to run around. Our bungalow has high end furnishings, designer linens and quality beds to make sure you wake up feeling great after a good nighttime sleep. The kitchen is entirely outfitted so that you can prepare fast snacks for the beach or a gourmet meal. There are ceiling fans throughout to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each bedroom has its own TV and DVR and there is also a TV and DVR in the den area. If you prefer to be outside, you can savor a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise on our screened front porch, complete with rocking chairs and picnic table, or have a cold drink and watch the sunset off the back deck. Outside we have a sizable shower and changing area, two picnic tables, paved driveway, a fenced back yard and gas grille. This beach rental accepts you to check in Sunday and depart Sunday. We think this really helps with all the traffic on the highway and it is not so crowed at the grocery stores. It also gives you a day to pack if you work. We hope this will work for you. Before leaving, straighten up and ensure everything is in order as you found it upon arrival. Make sure to collect all your belongings prior to departure. Close and lock every door and window, and make sure all appliances are turned off (except the fridges). Make sure all dishes are clean: load and run the dishwasher prior to leaving (it is not necessary to empty it). Remove all trash and recyclables from the home and place in the proper cans under the front stairs. Failure to remove trash from the unit will result in additional costs.b. This Second Row newly refreshed home has an inverted floor plan, meaning the family room, dining, kitchen, and Master (King sized bed) are on the topmost floor so the vistas can be maximized. There is plentiful dining seating as well as a kitchen with every tool a prepare can think to use, if one enjoys cooking meals for the family at the beach. At the entry level one will find a welcoming sitting room, a King bedroom with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom (tub shower) that opens to a bedroom with two twin beds. Also, there is a bunk room for the kids, with two bunk beds and an adjoining private bathroom (shower with detachable shower spray). The washer and dryer are on this level under the staircase. HD cable and a flat screen TV with a soundbar and subwoofer speakers are supplied in the family room TV for movie nights, and all the Roku stick enabled TV's have access to HDTV with the Spectrum app. Netflix and Amazon Prime are also included for complimentary streaming. Excellent Wifi coverage. Deeded beach access is three homes over and across the street. The under-the-home storage room is completely supplied with a Weber charcoal grille, as well as beach toys and games, chairs, umbrellas, body boards, as well as a cart to tote them on. The foot shower is conveniently located near the front steps for rinsing off sand before entering the home; and for those who savor bathing in the fresh air, there is an enclosed outside shower, sink, and changing area. The beach is not busy since only ocean front and second row homes share this stretch of sand. Holden Beach is a family friendly beach where you will find homes and a handful of condos. Savor watching the infant turtles hatch in August, or catch a wave with the body boards. Grab dinner at numerous close by eateries, or plan an outing to Myrtle or Wilmington, both only an hour away, and then come back to appreciate the tranquility and peaceful Holden welcomes you with once you cross over that magical curved bridge onto the island.
