Fanta-sea is a privately owned East Main Street open floor plan ocean front duplex on the East end of the Island with alluring vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, only a short distance to the beach. Sunset Vacations is the provider for rental management services. This home does not allow smoking or family pets and is not equipped for electric car charging. Nightly units require a departure maid service.

Located in Sunset Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.

When to book & When to go:

• The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
• June, July, and August are high season in Sunset Beach. Book your Carolina Beach rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
• Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
• Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

Some things to know before you go:

• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a terrific vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
