"Bay Breeze" is a three bedroom / two bath located in the Maritime forest off of North Bald Head Wynd. This home is tucked around great Live Oaks giving you the feel of being in an actual tree home! The sizable, broad windows let in tons of light and the open floor plan is great for family gatherings. The first level contains a garage and entry way. The second floor within the tops of the trees has the main living area. Please note there are not blinds for these windowns. The kitchen is well outfitted and lives very well. Upstairs is the master king suite as well as two more bedrooms with a shared bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd bedroom has two twins. Outside we have numerous expansive decks. Downstairs there is an outdoor shower and plenty of room for outdoor grilling. Upstairs off of the living is a nice screened in porch with an outdoor dining area and a hammock. Right off of the screened porch is a sun bathing deck.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. • To find the best rental within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
• Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
• Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
• Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

• Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to compel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review.
