Our top Vacation rental home tips:

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • To find the best value, try shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many property management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking your prefect Carolina Beach rental home:

  • To start, have your family choose a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Waterfront Condo: Rosé All Day! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible online. If not, contact the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach beach you long to visit, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
