Getting the best Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Start by having your family choose vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 2bd/2ba 4 queen beds. Sea Trail Condo. Close to the beach. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a certain Carolina Beach attraction you crave, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Advice for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
