Sunset Beach vacation rental booking tips:

When to go & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

  • Summer time is high season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitors guides that include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting and booking the rightrental home:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 2bd\/2ba 4 queen beds. Sea Trail Condo. Close to the beach. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If not, email or call the property management company before you book your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what is suitable for your family.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Tips to have a fantastic stay:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Be respectful. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
