Great family beach home with handsome ocean view! “Jackson's Corner" has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, outside shower, and 2 amazing decks with unobstructed ocean vistas! Beach access is only steps away. This beach hideaway will comfortably sleep 8. Spend time calming on the front deck swing appreciating the vistas and sounds of the ocean! Conveniences include dishwasher, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, charcoal grille, central air HVAC, outside shower, 2 ocean facing decks, and much more! Walk to many Oak Island amenities including Food Lion, Publix, Dairy Queen, and multiple eateries!

**You are responsible for bringing your own towels and sheets for 1 King, 2 Queen Beds, 1 Double/Full to comfortably sleep 8 people.

**Family Animals allowed - please note dogs will not be able to go to the 2nd floor unless they are modest enough to be carried due to the spiral staircase. No family pets on the furnishings!

How to get the best rental value:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Oak Island. To find the largest rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a great stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
