Summary:
Three Little Birds offers elegant ocean vistas in front and Intracoastal
& marsh vistas from bedroom. Conveniently located 1 block from Freeman Park and the beach! Attractively decorated yet comfortable and cozy! Savor coffee on your front porch while catching the sunrise or take a dip in the pool. Close to all things Carolina Beach cycling, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famed boardwalks and fishing piers with great eateries and shopping!

The Space:
This unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather.

We have a garage which includes beach chairs for guest use

The Neighborhood:
We are located at the North end of the island, a half a block away from the entrance to Freeman Park. Freeman Park is a historic location where you can drive onto the beach with your 4-wheel drive car. The ocean is a block away and the beach access is very painless to get to, with one of many entrances located right beside the High Tide Parlor.
We are a mile from downtown Carolina Beach where you will find a variety of eateries, bars and stores.

Getting Around:
Carolina Beach offers numerous companies that rent bicycles and golf carts.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
