Washashore is entirely equipped for your vacation. A enormous cooler, beach toys and plenty of beach chairs are all available. There is also plenty of of covered/shaded area on the ground floor with a table for calming, storage and staging your day at the beach


You’ll adore the open floor plan in this one story home. Washashore has been completely remodeled newly with new furnishings, HD flat screen TVs, floors, carpeting and paint. The bedroom arrangement is ideal for a one or two families with 4 adults and total of 2-4 kids. The kids can all stay in the 3rd bedroom that has 2 twin beds with 2 twin trundles with their own full bathroom


If you've never been to Bald Head Island, you're in for a real treat. You'll appreciate driving the well kept golf carts or bicycling along the beach road or through the lush Maritime Forest. Visit Old Baldy, the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina, and learn about the Island's pirate and Civil War history. Join the Conservancy and take a turtle walk where you might see a loggerhead turtle lay her eggs or watch a nest hatch.

BHI Info:
BHI is a private island where you can only get to by boat or ferry. This is a golf cart only island. Leave your car behind & cruise on the golf cart supplied at the home. The island is approx. 5 by 2 miles. You can bicycle around the island in only an hour or two! BHI is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, stores, eateries, & activities.
BHI Activities:
-Rent bicycles at Coastal Urge or Riverside Adventure Company.
-Rent a stand up paddle board from Coastal Urge as well!
-Climb Old Baldy Lighthouse!
-Go on a historic island tour from the Old Baldy Foundation.
-Take a ghost walk, sail, surf, or kayak with the Sail Shop.
-Take a hike on the many trails.
-For a guided hike, guided kayak, or guided canoe trip visit the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
