32 Sandpiper is an oceanfront three bedroom home that makes you feel like you are on an Island at the "End of the World". Set privately at the end of an oceanfront cul de sac, this home features gorgeous sunsets over the less busy South and West beaches. Ships can be seen in the distance going to and from the shipping channel to Wilmington. Beach access is directly across from the private driveway to 32 Sandpiper Trail. This home may have the very best sunsets on the Island, you might just see the green flash!

Inside you will find a entirely remodeled and refreshed interior with a reverse floor plan, upstairs you will find a sizable open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The living room opens onto a covered veranda with Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs to soak in the handsome ocean vistas. The kitchen features upgraded stainless appliances, quartz counter tops. Two light homes can be seen! The kids bunk room is also upstairs and sleeps 3.

Downstairs, you will find two master bedrooms. One with a King, an d the other with two Queen beds. Both bedrooms open onto a first floor covered porch with great vistas.

Sleeps 9. Two golf carts are supplied. A BHI Club Lifestyle membership is available but not supplied. A Shoals Club is also available but not included.

Bikes are not serviced or maintained by BHIR, therefore if they are not satisfactory we recommend renting bicycles and umbrellas from Riverside Adventure Company or Coastal Urge.

About the Area

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in West Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting.

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance.
