Located just steps from the sand and Freeman Park, this bright and airy condo offers peaceful marsh vistas from the back deck and invigorating ocean breezes from the front porch.

Wake up to impressive sunrise vistas over the ocean and relax in the evening with gorgeous sunsets over the marsh. You’re just a five-min. walk from the iconic Carolina Beach Pier, where you’ll find the lively Tiki Bar & Grille and the fashionable High Tide Parlor—ideal for casual beachside dining, drinks, and live music.

The Neighborhood:
We are at the North end of the island, a half a block away from the entrance to Freeman Park. Freeman Park is a historic location where you can drive onto the beach with your 4-wheel drive car, and bring your dog (on-leash) all year round. The ocean is a block away, and beach access is very painless to get to, with one of many entrances located right beside the High Tide Parlor. We’re a mile from downtown Carolina Beach where you will find a ton of eateries, bars, and stores.

Getting Around:
Guests have access to one designated parking space during their stay. If you’re bringing a four-wheel drive car, you’re welcome to appreciate the unique experience of driving directly onto the beach at close by Freeman Park. Prefer to discover the island on two wheels or by golf cart? There are numerous local stores in town that offer convenient units.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property: A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and beach access may be unavailable in certain locations.

When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home & When to go:

To book the largest rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
Does your family require special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities.
Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.

Protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
