  • Approximately 4200 square feet

This excellent home was constructed in 2013 as a private residence to entertain friends and family. The decor and color scheme of this home are so calming, you'll immediately start to decompress and destress the moment you cross the threshold. It was offered as a rental for the first time in 2020 to great acclaim. Let us help you make lasting memories while you relax and recharge in your spa-like surroundings.

Daydream Believer is located mid Island and has unobstructed vistas up and down the beach front from the two covered porches. A private walkway, accessed from the lower porch or pool area, takes you to the beach. Our home features an inverted floor plan with over 4200 square feet of living space. Enter from enclosed ground level entrance or up the front steps. If riding the elevator go to 3rd level first so you can be blown away by the elegant vistas and striking design of the upper level.

On the upper level you will find an open floor plan which combines the Kitchen, Dining, and Living areas into one massive gathering space with gorgeous vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. The entirely equipped gourmet kitchen includes 2 full size ovens, microwave, 6 burner gas stove top, hood, dishwasher, and refrigerator all in stainless. In addition, you will find a constructed in wine cooler, Nugget ice maker, and a walk-in pantry with a second refrigerator. The massive granite island accommodates 8 diners with 5 bar and 3 counter seats. The handsome adjacent dinning table accommodates 8 also. The living room is roomy and offers TV, sound system, games and books. The upper level is also where you will find the master suite complete with king bed and bespoke bath with stone and granite shower. There is also a modest full bath in the upper entry directly across from the elevator. There's a separate sitting/ TV room also on this level and another bedroom with queen bed and attached bath.

The middle level is the main entry entryway, and 4 more bedrooms. There are two Ocean front master suites on this level, another queen bedroom with bath and an striking bunk room that sleeps 6. There are 4 bespoke constructed in bunk beds that line one wall with steps in the middle and 2 single twin beds in this room complete with bath. On this level is also where you will find the laundry room complete with sizable capacity washer dryer and sink.

The elevator goes from ground level to 3rd (upper)floor which is great when unloading or for anyone who may have mobility issues.

Luxurious Linens are included which include sheets, towels, and beach towels.

The cavernous pool area can be reached from the downstairs entrance or from lower floor porch. The pool is salt water. There is an enclosed shower area and a storage area that has pool floats, beach chairs and games. The pool area has 12 lounge chairs and 2 high top tables with 8 bar stools. The pool is well lit by floods in the evening. Both porches overlook the pool and beach.

The porches offer chaise lounges with bespoke cushions and Adirondack Rocking chairs. The upper porch also has a grouped seating area with cushioned couch, chairs and tables. Holden Beach vacation rental booking tips:

Getting the best value:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Holden Beach. To get the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Choose your vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Magnificent Ocean Retreat has 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property manager before reserving the home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your contract.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

More considerations for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Record any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
