• Summer months are high season in Bald Head Island. To get the best value, change your family's Carolina Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
• Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

• Property managers often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection.
