Two TV's with basic cable, two DVD players, wireless internet access. Master suite with walk-in closet and private bath, stand alone tile shower with rainmaker shower head and hottub tub. Ceiling fans throughout. Oceanview covered porch with furnishings, dedicated condo community beach walkway across the street with gazebo. Additional condo community amenities include a seasonal pool, hot tub, grilling area and outside shower.

The Yaupon Dunes pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this condo is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. When to visit & When to book:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or costs applied to your invoice.
  • Does your group require particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.

Tips to have a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.

  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback.
