Our top Carolina Beach vacation rental tips and tricks:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer time is high season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best value, shift your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Start by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 1114 Boundless Awe by Atlantic Towers has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the host before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If there's an individual Carolina Beach destination you crave, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • During check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
