Carolina Beach has some very good eateries on the boardwalk and on the main street such as Havana, Seawitch. Many more to pick from with a marvelous board walk that offers live music at times. Also weekly fireworks on Thursday.
Wilmington is just 12 miles away with tons of sites and eateries.
