Are you looking for a peaceful, private, and calming hideaway? Our oceanfront home is the ideal spot for you and your family! Come and appreciate your morning coffee on the deck while you listen to the ocean. Appreciate the ocean vistas while grilling on the charcoal grille. Build sandcastles and search for seashells right out the back door. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom, with a king bed, and master bath is on the main level. There are two more bedrooms upstairs, both with one queen bed and one twin bed with twin trundle and Intelligent TV in each room. They share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. We also have a sleeper couch with a queen bed in the living room. Our home has a full size washer and dryer, a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator with water filtration system, microwave, and a Keurig. The living room has a Intelligent TV and blue ray player, wireless internet, and a wireless printer/scanner/fax machine. Our beaches are dog friendly, and as such, we do allow our guests to bring their dog with them for a fee. We simply ask that the dog not be over 40lbs or be allowed on any of the furnishings and be crated when you are not at the home. To access the ocean, please walk over the dune between the homes. You'll see that that area is not roped off. Serendipity Oceanside has everything you need for a relaxing, and fun hideaway!

Our top Carolina Beach rental property booking tips and tricks:

Money saving strategies:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Carolina Beach area. To find the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain deals for nearby tours and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • First and foremost, have your family decide on dates and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Serendipity Seaside-Private Oceanfront House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • Is your group looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
