The deck is furnished with plenty of seating, a enormous outdoor table with bench seating, and lounge chairs.

Enter the home through the double glass doors into the upsized great room with comfortable seating for all to enjoy. A big screen TV with cable, sound bar, and tons of games for any age to enjoy! The refreshed kitchen is appointed with handsome granite countertops, top notch appliances, and every kitchen gadget you could possibly imagine.

There are four sizable bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms connected with a Jack and Jill bathroom. One of the other bedrooms featuring two sets of bunk beds. Two of the four bedrooms outfitted with TVs and Roku sticks. This home has the ideal setup for two families or groups that are traveling together as the sleeping quarters are paired of on each side of the home. One side even equipped with a pocket door separating from the great room for added privacy.

The back of the home features a humongous, screened-in porch with an upsized couch and chairs. We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. About the Area

This vacation home is located in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is a good way to save on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Please be objective.
