Tips to get the best Carolina Beach rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Cabana 49 - 101 SE 49th Strret - Coastal Vacation Resorts has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly available online. Otherwise, email or call the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is right for your group.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

Have a fantastic stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Note any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
