Welcome to The Royal, a roomy and elegantly decorated historic home in the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC. Thoughtfully decorated with extravagant royal-inspired touches, this one-of-a-kind property blends historic character with modern comfort. With five bedrooms, two full living spaces, and two kitchens, The Royal is ideal for family gatherings, wedding groups, or friends traveling together.

Located just a short walk from many of Wilmington’s most trendy attractions, guests can conveniently discover the riverfront, local eateries, stores, wedding venues, and concert venues that make the Port City such a vibrant destination!

The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with five king-size beds and one queen bed, offering plenty of space for everybody to relax and spread out.

The Princess Kate – First Floor Suite

The Princess Kate suite is located on the main level and comfortably accommodates up to four guests with two king-size bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

One bedroom is located just off the living area, while the second is tucked down the back hallway for additional privacy. The primary bedroom features a shower/tub combination, and the suite includes a completely equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and coffee maker.

Two rear doors lead directly to the fenced backyard patio, providing a convenient outdoor space to relax and relax.

The Queen Elizabeth – Upper Floors (Stairs Only)

Located on the upper levels of the home, The Queen Elizabeth is the bigger living space and accommodates up to eight guests. This area features three king beds and one queen bed, along with two full bathrooms with showers (the tub in the primary bath is decorative only).

A washer and dryer are located near the back entrance for guest convenience. The cavernous primary bedroom includes its own private bathroom and closet.

The third floor spans the length of the home and features additional sleeping space with two king beds and one queen. Please note that portions of this floor have sloped ceilings, which may require taller guests to take care in certain areas.

Outdoor Spaces

Guests of both suites can appreciate the front and back porches, ideal for taking in the appeal of historic downtown Wilmington. The fenced backyard offers a private, well-lit space for calming outdoors after a day of exploring.

Because the home is located in a vibrant downtown neighborhood with close by businesses and residences, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of neighbors and respect the surrounding properties.

We will provide enough hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple of nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs. There is a drip coffee maker, please be sure to pack your favorite coffee!
