The bungalow is a 2 min. walk from door to toes in the surf, using a private beach just access across the street. This home is very kid friendly with tons of toys and infant/ kid items for young families. It has a wide porch and humongous pool deck for calming and games

An outdoor shower is available for post-beach wash off. Pool seating, picnic table outdoor dining table are on the pool deck. The pool is cleaned twice a week by our pool company.
There's seating on a wide front porch for island viewing.

There's plenty of parking under the home and in the driveway. We provide bicycles for getting around the island. A car is needed to drive to eateries and stores.

Come appreciate Holden Beach's more private ambiance. This home is located on the less populated west end where there's no public parking. Holden Island is rather narrow, so you'll savor vistas of both the ocean and the inter-coastal waterway.

You will need a car to access stores and eateries.

We know packing for travel, especially with kids, can be frustrating. We strive to provide as much as we can for our guests. Unlike most beach homes, we provide most personal and household products some of which include: Shampoo, conditioner, kids shampoo, body wash, cleaning products, laundry and dish detergent, paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, etc.

• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
• Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.

• Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
