When to go & When to book:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Wilmington. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance.
